About the Fossil Dreaming Project
The Riversleigh World Heritage Area is recognised for its internationally significant fossil deposits and the important scientific discoveries that have been made here.
With the support of an Australian Heritage Grant, the Waanyi Native Title Aboriginal Corporation developed this project to tell the story of the area’s cultural significance to the Waanyi People.
Visitors can immerse themselves in fascinating stories from Waanyi Country and take a virtual tour of a 25-million-year-old fossil site in Boodjamulla National Park.
