Waanyi JV
capability partnership
The Boodjamulla National Park is cooperatively managed by Waanyi PBC and the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, within the Indigenous land use agreement that recognises the native title rights of the Waanyi People and future interests over the land.
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships is working cooperatively with Waanyi PBC to ensure the Country stays healthy for Waanyi People, their future generations and for the benefit of all people of Queensland.
Waanyi JV capability partner, Impact250, has assisted in facilitating the land hand back, continuing to work alongside the Waanyi PBC in integrating traditional culture into the park, enriching the tourism experience for visitors, and fostering Waanyi People capability for a more robust socio-economic and sustainable future.
